Quotes For The Day

"It is never too late to be what you might have been."
" The most important factor in the miracle of life is YOU!"
The next quote is one of my favourites:
" For every sixty seconds of anger,
You lose one minute of happiness."
Happy Australia Day for tomorrow and we hope you have a fantastic weekend - don't forget that we are open on Saturday.

Today's Inspiration
The first layout here is a simple 6x6 page made with the Cricut machine. The friends title and the flowers have all been cut with the Cricut.

Cards
This card below has been made with a Print Blocks swirl stamp.

The next two cards have been made with Rhonna Farrer stamps - flowers and swirls.

The flowers on the next card have been punched with the whale of a punch daisy punch from EK Success - one of our most popular punches.

1 Stamp 2 Ways - the next two cards have been made with the same stamp. This is a Stamp It stamp.

Just arrived in store:

Lots of new Kaiser Scrapbooking products - more wood products to decorate, paints in a huge range of colours, card packs and lots of very well priced paper kits.

The February class schedule will be available soon - keep checking the website.

Look out for our next Sunday All Day Workshop - we have some great projects planned! It is scheduled for early February.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Today's Inspiration
Here is a little tag book we made to hold some cute little photos.

Below is a frame that we have painted and decorated with gems, Making Memories rub ons and a Making Memories metal word. We have plenty of photo frames in stock ready to be decorated. If you are starting to think about what to make hubby for Valentine's Day why not grab a frame to hold a special photo of you or of the both of you.

Today's Inspiration
The first project here is an altered notebook. We purchased an A5 Visual Diary for ours. Take the front and back covers off. We painted both covers with purple paint, let dry. Paint a good coat of decor crackle over the purple paint and let dry to touch dry. Then paint unbleached titanium over the crackle in a criss cross motion. Let this dry and watch it crackle. Decorate the front cover and then seal with Mod Podge or Decoupage Paste.

Working With Paints, Inks & Texture Paste
Play around with paint to achieve different looks. We have used bubblewrap and paint on this first double layout for the bottom strip. Cut a piece of bubblewrap to the size you need and then paint it. Then use it like a stamp and stamp the paint onto your page.

For this layout below we have used a leaf stencil and attached it to the page with removeable tape. Then apply texture paste over the stencil so that it fills in the stencil on your page. Then carefully remove the stencil to reveal your pattern. Let dry. You can hit it with the heat gun to speed up the drying process. When dry go over the texture paste with walnut ink for the aged look (alternatively you could colour with paint). We have also rubbed gold metallic rub ons over the walnut ink.
