Today's Inspiration
All of today's layouts have been created by the lovely Sue and they are all beautiful!
All of the papers she has used are available in store now.

The next layout was inspired by Lyndal's layout from last week.

We love how Sue has cut all the flowers and layered them.

Thank you for sharing your work with us Sue.

Today's Inspiration
The photo mat in the first layout here has been created with paint, texture paste and retarder medium. Retarder medium slows the drying time for your paint and can be used to create some great antiquing and ageing effects on your work. If you would like a quick demo of how this works just ask us next time you are in the shop!

In the Cheeky Rascals layouts we have used the Autumn Leaves stamps for the swirls on the sides. We have stamped in black and then gone around the edge with a white gel pen. The title has been cut on the Cuttlebug and then painted white. Once dry we have drawn different patterns over the white paint with a pink pen. The flowers in the bottom right corner on the first layout have been cut from Basic Grey paper and all the other flowers have been punched with EK Daisy punches.

Just to let you all know - our shop will be open on Sunday as we have a class scheduled. If you need anything or just want to come in for a browse and some inspiration we will be there between 10am - 3pm.
Look forward to seeing you soon!
Tamara & Kathleen

Today's Inspiration
The cards featured today have been created by the very talented Jenny McNulty from Amazing Creations who is our guest teacher for the month of May. She has used a beautiful stamp from Stamps Happen and used watercolours to decorate.

The next layout is from our teacher Karen. She has used stamps and gold fab foils to add swirls to the layout and also to the chipboard flourish.

The next project is a 12x12 canvas that would make a lovely gift for someone special.

These cards and layouts are on display instore so if you would like to take a closer look just drop in! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Just a quick share today!
The first layout here has some of the gorgeous new K & Company paper on it as well as Autumn Leaves stamps. I love this cheeky photo of my brother!

The Friends layout is by Kathleen and she has used the new EK Success piercing tool to make holes for the stem of the flower. She has then stitched the stem. The title has been cut from chipboard on the Cuttlebug.

The last layout for today is by our very creative friend Nolene Nielson. The scan has not done this layout justice - it is just stunning. Thank you for sharing with us all Nolene.

Today's Inspiration
The first card here has Basic Grey paper and felt flowers cut from the Cuttlebug.

To make the next card we used plain vellum and ran it through the Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder. We than inked over it and embossed this with the heat gun.

We just love the Heidi Swapp chipboard clocks escpecially in the centre of a big flower like in the following layout. Can you tell that we love Basic Grey paper?!

The "Sweet" layout has lots of bling! We cut chipboard flowers on the Cuttlebug, painted them and then finished them off with Making Memories Shimmer in pink. Lots of gems and kindy glitz finish this layout off.

We will be adding a projects page to our website soon with full instructions and materials list for some of the cards & layouts on our blog.
Have a fantastic weekend!
